Trillium Retirement Living features a physician who welcomes all incoming residents that do not current have a family doctor.  We can ensure immediate and inclusive access to medical care for every new arrival.  This promotes health, security, and personalized attention from the moment you join any of our communities.

While the physician is a valuable addition to our team, it is essential to clarify that they are not an employee of Trillium Retirement Living, and therefore, we do not manage their schedule or availability. 

For any emergencies, it is crucial to seek immediate assistance from the nearest hospital or emergency services.  The house physician is here to provide scheduled care, address non-urgent matters, and support the overall wellbeing of our community. 

Visits to other family doctors in a walk-in or any other capacity generate a financial penalty for the Physician and should be avoided for non-urgent issues.  This penalty does not apply to specialists or emergency department visits.

Any queries in between the physician’s visits should be directed to the nursing staff, and the physician is not to be contacted at any other institution where services are provided to other patients.

Please note that the physician specifically provides care to the facility, and that residents leaving the facility for any reason would also be withdrawing from physician's care.
