Physician Care
Trillium Retirement Living features a physician who welcomes all incoming resident that do not currently have a family doctor. While the physician is a valuable addition to our team, it is essential to clarify that they are not an employee of Trillium Retirement Living, and therefore, we do not manage their schedule or availability.
For any emergencies, it is crucial to seek immediate assistance from the nearest hospital or emergency services. The physician is here to provide scheduled care, address non-urgent matters, and support the overall wellbeing of the community.
Visits to other family doctor walk-ins or any other capacity generate a financial penalty for the physician and should be avoided for non-urgent issues. This penalty does not apply to specialists or emergency department visits.
Any queries in between the physician's visits should be directed to the nursing staff, and the physician is not to be contacted at any other institution where services are provided to other patients.
Please not that the physician specifically provides care to the facility, and that residents leaving the facility for any reason would also be withdrawing from the physician's care. We appreciate your cooperations and understanding in adhering to this direction.

Meals
We prioritize wellness through nourishment by ensuring we serve three homecooked meals every day. The homecooked meals are being made by using only fresh ingredients, no "box" cooking here.
By maintaining a well-rounded diet filled with fresh, nutritious foods, we are able to support our clients' bodies with the essential nutrients they need to thrive.
We do not add any refined sugars in our cooking. Only natural sweeteners are used in our home, but adding sugar is completely your choice.
We do not add any salt into our meals. We believe in utilizing spices to compliment flavour, but adding salt is completely your choice.
We already include the meals in our rates.

Our Select Care is designed to be flexible, modular, and responsive to the evolving personal care needs of any individual we support. Each component of the package can be tailored, scaled, or reconfigured as needs change.

Trillium 21 - Short Stay Program
Trillium 21 is a twenty-one-day stay program focusing on a Guest's temporary accommodation in a Retirement Home.
The Trillium 21 is a great way to test the Retirement lifestyle when uncertain. We have a process that allows a Guest to change their status from Guest to Resident at any time; no rush.
